The Matrix Resurrections Trailer
"The Matrix" fans around the world have been eagerly anticipating the return of Neo and Trinity, and the wait is finally over. Warner Bros. has released the official trailer for "The Matrix Resurrections," and it's every bit as thrilling as fans had hoped.
The trailer opens with Neo, played by Keanu Reeves, sitting in a therapist's office, seemingly unaware of his past. But as the trailer progresses, we see glimpses of his old life, including his iconic black coat and sunglasses. Carrie-Anne Moss also returns as Trinity, and together they face off against the cyber-intelligence machine army once again.
But this time, they have some new allies, including Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Resistance leader Morpheus, and Jessica Henwick as Bugs, another member of the Resistance. Jonathan Groff and Neil Patrick Harris also appear in the trailer, their roles still a mystery.
The trailer also gives us a glimpse of the film's plot, as Morpheus and Bugs reveal a shocking truth to Neo and Trinity – they've been resurrected and reloaded into The Matrix. As they fight back against the forces of repression and exploitation, Neo must relearn and unleash his arsenal of extraordinary skills.
"The Matrix Resurrections" promises to be an epic return to the world of "The Matrix," and fans can hardly wait to see what the film has in store. The movie is set to hit theaters and HBO Max on December 22, 2021.
