Paramount Sets November Release Date for The Ring Reboot

Paramount has set a November 13, 2015 release date for 'The Ring' reboot, titled Rings. Italian actress Matilda Lutz has been cast as the female lead.

In the film, Samara returns with a familiar video tape to strike terror again in the third film of 'The Ring' horror franchise.

'The Ring' (2002) was an English-language remake of the Japanese film 'Ringu' (1998).

Starring Naomi Watts, David Dorfman, Daveigh Chase, Martin Henderson and Brian Cox 'The Ring' was a critical and commercial hit that helped to usher in a period in which Hollywood turned to Asia for horror inspiration. The film was followed by 'The Ring Two' in 2005.
