Oscar Isaac Talks Star Wars: The Force Awakens Cameo and Creature Effects
Oscar Isaac was a guest on 'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart' this week to promote his new crime thriller A Most Violent Year, but he spent most of his time talking about this year's most anticipated movie, Star Wars The Force Awakens.
The busy actor plays an X-Wing pilot named Poe Dameron in 'The Force Awakens' and confirmed production has wrapped principal photography. "Star Wars is done. They're making it, putting it all together now, but we're done shooting it," says Isaac.
With 'The Force Awakens' now in post production does Isaac know how Episode VII concludes? "Yeah, I know the ending." Could we see a cameo from our favorite little green Jedi Master? "I can't say. They'll kill me," teases Isaac.
We got our first look at some of the new creatures in The Force Awakens last year and Isaac addressed the number of practical effects vs CGI that will appear in the film, "There was a lot of practical stuff. So there was actual puppeteers," Isaac reveals. "Actually I did very little green screen when I was there. A lot of it is just practical on set and huge sets of hundreds of extras."
