New 'Man of Steel' Pics of Superman, Lois Lane and Jonathan Kent

Smallville is attacked, Lois Lane investigates Clark Kent and Jonathan Kent reveals a secret that is out of this world in four new photos from Zack Snyder's Superman reboot, Man of Steel. Total Film magazine (issue 205) debuted the new images. German magazine Cinema has also published a new photo featuring the cast. You can check out all the images below.

Opening in 3D, 2D in select theaters, and IMAX 3D on June 14, the superhero adventure stars: Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Antje Traue, Ayelet Zurer, Christopher Meloni, Russell Crowe, Michael Kelly, Harry Lennix and Richard Schiff.

In the film, a young boy learns that he has extraordinary powers and is not of this Earth. As a young man, Clark Kent (Cavill) journeys to discover where he came from and what he was sent here to do.

But the hero in him must emerge if he is to save the world from annihilation by two other surviving Kryptonians — the tyrannical General Zod (Shannon) and his evil partner Faora (Traue). Clark Kent must become Superman, the symbol of hope for all mankind.
