Lionsgate Exploring 'Hunger Games' Prequels

Lionsgate today announced that The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 will be digitally re-mastered into the IMAX format and released in IMAX 3D theaters domestically for the film's November 20th release.
Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer also revealed that he is "actively looking" to develop prequels and more sequels to 'The Hunger Games' film franchise. In the fourth installment, Katniss and the rebels begin an assault on the Capitol. When rebels gain control and capture President Snow, Katniss must make a fateful choice; punish the citizens of the Capitol or end the Hunger Games forever.
'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2' is directed by Francis Lawrence from a screenplay by Peter Craig and Danny Strong and stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Jeffrey Wright.
The lineup is joined by The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 co-stars Julianne Moore, Mahershala Ali, Natalie Dormer, Wes Chatham, Elden Henson and Evan Ross.
