Kate Winslet and Jeff Daniels Join Universal's Steve Jobs Biopic
Universal has announced the full cast for director Danny Boyle's Steve Jobs biopic starring Michael Fassbender (12 Years a Slave) in the title role.
Kate Winslet (The Divergent Series: Insurgent) will portray former Macintosh marketing chief Joanna Hoffman and Jeff Daniels (The Newsroom) will play former Apple CEO John Sculley.
They join previously announced Seth Rogen (The Interview) as Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, Katherine Waterston (Inherent Vice) as Chrisann Brennan, the mother of Job's first child, and Perla Haney-Jardine (Future Weather) as Jobs' estranged daughter Lisa.
Boyle has also added Michael Stuhlbarg (Boardwalk Empire), Sarah Snook (Predestination), Adam Shapiro (A Single Man), Ripley Sobo (Winter's Tale) and Mackenzie Moss (Do You Believe?) in supporting roles.
The story will take place in three uncut scenes before the Mac, NeXT and iPod product launches.
