Jena Malone Joins Batman v Superman as Female Robin?
Jena Malone has joined the cast of director Zack Snyder's Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, reports The Hollywood Reporter and WILX10. You can watch the video below.
Malone is rumored to play Carrie Kelley the female "Robin" from Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns (1986) comic book miniseries.
Back in August, The Sucker Punch and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 & 2 star was spotted on the Michigan set.
Yesterday Malone's name surfaced in a report on Michigan news WILX10 claiming that she will play "Robin" in a scene involving Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) and Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) at the Broad Art Museum on Michigan State University.

Snyder has acknowledged Chris Terrio an David S. Goyer's 'Dawn of Justice' script is inspired by 'The Dark Knight Returns'.
The director announced the project at Comic-Con 2013 with a quote from the seminal four-issue comic book and Batman's costume in the teaser trailer shown at this year's Comic-Con is clearly similar to one worn by Frank Miller's semi-retired Batman.
