'Clue' Remake: Ryan Reynolds to Star and Produce
Ryan Reynolds is set to star and produce the ensemble mystery comedy film Clue, based on the Hasbro board game of the same name.
Ryan Reynolds' production company Maximum Effort has signed a three-year first look deal with Twentieth Century Fox to produce projects for the studio.
Maximum Effort will first produce Clue along with Allspark Pictures, the film division of Hasbro. Deadpool (2016) scribes Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are in talks write the Clue remake.
The ensemble comedy tells the story of six guests who are invited to a strange house and must cooperate with the staff to solve a murder mystery.
Paramount Pictures' 1985 adaptation of the classic board game, saw Tim Curry lead a colorful cast of characters based on those featured in the game.
