Arrested Development Movie, New Episodes Coming. The Fox comedy series 'Arrested Development' is coming back for one more season as a lead-in to the planned film adaptation. Creator Mitch Hurwitz announced that 10 new television episodes and the movie will all shoot back-to-back next summer for the 2012 fall TV schedule and an early 2013 theatrical release. In the show, level-headed son Michael Bluth (Jason Bateman) takes over family affairs after his father (Jeffrey Tambor) is imprisoned. But the rest of his spoiled, dysfunctional family are making his job unbearable.

Cancelled back in 2006, after three seasons, 'Arrested Development' became a television cult classic.
