Christoph Waltz to Play Classic Bond Villain Blofeld

According to The Daily Mail, Christoph Waltz has been cast as the diabolical Bond villain Ernst Stavro Blofeld opposite Daniel Craig in director Sam Mendes upcoming 24th installment of the James Bond film franchise.
Blofeld, head of the global criminal organization SPECTRE, has been portrayed by several different actors over the years, but was first revealed in You Only Live Twice (1967) played by actor Donald Pleasence, followed by Telly Savalas in On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969).
Waltz joins Léa Seydoux (Blue is the Warmest Color, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol) as a femme fatale. Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris and Ben Whishaw are set to reprise their roles.
