Ariana Grande Opening 2014 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs)
Ariana Grande has "got one less problem," and one more week to kick off the 2014 MTV VMAs live in Los Angeles.
MTV has yet to make an official announcement, but we've learned that Pop singer/actress Ariana Grande will open this year's MTV Video Music Awards.
Ariana's brother, 'Big Brother' contestant Frankie Grande, inadvertently spilled the beans live on 'Big Brother After Dark'. After winning Head of Household (HOH), Frankie read a note from home that revealed his famous sister was rehearsing to open MTV's popular music award show.
We've also learned, the former Nickelodeon TV star will perform her new single Break Free on the VMAs and will make her sophomore album My Everything available for purchase as soon as the show concludes.
That means fans can get their hands on her new music an entire day early. The lead single Problem (feat. Iggy Azalea and Big Sean) sold 438,000 downloads in its first week.
The 2014 MTV Video Music Awards will air on August 24th at 9pm ET/8c.
