Bad Teacher 2 in the Works. Columbia Pictures is developing a sequel to their hit 2011 raunchy comedy Bad Teacher. Jake Kasdan is returning to direct Bad Teacher 2 with Justin Malen writing the script. It was announced today by Doug Belgrad, President of Columbia Pictures, and Hannah Minghella, president of Production for the studio. The project is being developed for Cameron Diaz to reprise her role as Elizabeth Halsey, a foulmouthed, ruthless, and inappropriate middle school teacher.
