'X-Men: Days of Future Past' Bishop and Warpath Confirmed
Director Bryan Singer has confirmed that Bishop and James "Warpath" Proudstar will be joining the character line-up in X-Men: Days of Future Past, the follow-up to 2011's X-Men: First Class. Singer revealed the news via Twitter.
The Intouchables star Omar Sy is rumored to play Bishop, a mutant from the 22nd century that traveled into the past. He has the power to absorb and channel kinetic energy.
Boo Boo Stewart (The Twilight Saga: Eclipse) is rumored to play Warpath, a mutant of Apache descent who possesses superhuman strength, senses and agility.

The film is inspired by Chris Claremont and John Byrne's comic book storyline that ran in "Uncanny X-Men" #141 and 142 in 1981. "Days of Future Past" introduced the idea of an alternate future for Marvel's mutants that grew out of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants killing an important senator, leading to a future where all mutants are hunted by Sentinels.
X-Men: Days of Future Past is scheduled to be released by 20th Century Fox on July 18, 2014.
