Star Wars: Episode III 3D Coming to Theaters October 11, 2013. Hayden Christensen, Ewan McGregor and Natalie Portman star in the 3D re-release. Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith will be theatrically released in 3D back-to-back, September 20, 2013 and October 11, 2013 respectively. In the final installment, after three years of fighting in the Clone Wars, Anakin Skywalker falls prey to the Sith Lord's lies and makes an enemy of the Jedi and those he loves, concluding his journey to the Dark Side.

Synopsis

The galaxy is weary after three long years of war. Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi have become legendary heroes in their campaigns against the droid forces of the evil General Grievous. Anakin and his secret wife, Padme Amidala, have been separated for months, and he finally reunites with her to learn that she is pregnant. He is plagued by visions of her dying in childbirth, haunting images of a possible future. Anakin is determined to stop her from dying–no matter the cost. This leads Anakin down a dark path to commit terrible deeds. Obi-Wan Kenobi must face his former apprentice in a ferocious lightsaber duel on the fiery world of Mustafar.

Star Wars is perfectly suited to the immersive 3D theatrical experience, and Episode III delivers some of the Saga's most stunning and spectacular sequences. Supervised by Industrial Light & Magic, the meticulous conversion is being done with utmost respect for the source material, and with a keen eye for both technological considerations and artistic intentions.
