Michael Shannon Teases 'Man Of Steel' Speech?

Back in December, Movienewz.com broke the news that Warner Bros. plans to debut the first trailer for Man of Steel this June. MTV recently caught up with General Zod himself, actor Michael Shannon, at the 2012 Independent Spirit Awards and asked him about the trailer and dialogue. "Zod has some speeches; he has some cool speeches," he said. Shannon then shared what just might be an actual line, "Do you realize the universe is constantly shrinking, Superman?" Was it an actual line?

The Superman franchise is resurrected in Man of Steel from director Zack Snyder and producer Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight trilogy). The film stars Henry Cavill, who plays the new Clark Kent/Superman, Amy Adams as Daily Planet journalist Lois Lane, and Laurence Fishburne as her editor-in-chief, Perry White.
