Plot Details Alexandre Aja (Piranha 3D, The Hills Have Eyes) directs "Cobra: The Space Pirate," a live-action film adaptation based on the cult Japanese manga and animated TV series created by Buichi Terasawa. The film follows the infamous space-pirate Cobra who was once forced to hide from enemies by surgically altering his face and erasing his own memory. Pre-production will kick off in the fall, with production to start in early spring for a summer 2013 delivery.
