G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra – Super Bowl Trailer
First look at the Super Bowl Trailer for the live action movie featuring Dennis Quaid, Channing Tatum, Sienna Miller and Rachel Nichols. G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra is set to be released in theaters August 7, 2009.
The trailer begins with the Baroness (Sienna Miller). She exits a vehicle, enters a mansion and removes her coat. A fleet of submersible vessels move toward an underwater compound. Destro (Christopher Eccleston) and Baroness stare out the window. A green acid-like substance desolves the base of the Eiffel tower. It collapses. We see quick shots of General Hawk (Dennis Quaid) and Ripcord (Marlon Wayans).
Duke (Channing Tatum) lifts his machine gun. Snake Eyes (Ray Park) dives out of a plane. Cobra Vipers leap through a subway window. The Baroness (Sienna Miller); flanked by two Cobra Vipers, shoots two guns during a night battle. In a day scene, a motorcyclist leaps over the bike to avoid an approaching projectile. Heavy Duty (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) shoots a Gatling gun outside of an aircraft. Breaker (Said Taghmaoui) clutches Scarlett (Rachel Nichols) in a flooding room.
Two Cobra Vipers tumble in the air dodging rockets. The whole G.I. Joe team stroll in an aircraft hanger. Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow (Byung-hun Lee) square off. Snake Eyes flips in the air and lands on a car roof. General Hawk's voice-over: "Technically we don't exist, we answer to know one. When all else fails, we don't."
